The mission of the Gilfield Missionary Baptist Church is to win souls for the glory of God by the teaching and preaching of God’s word through bible study, evangelism, mission work, and Christian education, to help forfill commitment to this work, If you or someone you know requires transportation to attend Sunday Worship Service or Wednesday Night Bible Study, assistance is available for those in need.

Gilfield Missionary Baptist Church was officially established in 1874. The church quickly became a cornerstone of the community.
